While that does calm some of my initial fear that the show’s carefully crafted style might derail, I am sad to see a fellow FSU alumni back away from his role as show runner. I really think it has been Ball’s vision of the world these books could have crafted is a stronger source material that the Sookie Stackhouse...

The best I can tell, this girl (I think I heard someone say she was 15) has run away from home and the cops are upset that they are involved in getting her back. Not exactly sure how the cops got involved, if this girl did anything illegal or if the cops just got dragged into bringing her home.

But I am seriously about to send an All Staff email about silencing cell phones. Its bad enough whoever this is can’t follow basic office social protocol, but they have the most bizzarly granting and depressing dull ringtone I have ever heard.

I tried to open a file from the office server just now, and it told me the document was open currently somewhere else so I could only view it “read only”. Guess who that person with the document open is? It’s me. The server is very confused.
